I have put on weight recently and my hubby is getting some fat on his tummy. Suggest me the ways to reduce weight and burn tummy fat.

As you live in a beautiful area near the sea, I will suggest to swim. As for the food, avoid fatty foods, fried food and too much sugar and sweets. The proteins are the best to lose weight and especially the fat around the tummy.

For me, it has been about portion control. I have lost weight watching the portions I eat. If the box of rice says the portion size is 1/2 cup then that is what I eat. I count calories to keep it all together. I do try and eat as healthy as I can but since I am watching portion sizes, I do allow myself a treat every now and then.

@ancyrajan90 I don't really have a diet chart. I try and stay within about 1500 calories a day. I use the program at myfitnesspal.com to keep track of my calories online. On the back of food, there is a serving size as well as calories. I try to keep within the serving size. This way I can also have treats every now and then, I just have to keep track of the calories.
