The Gremlin moms sneak in to our laundry, grab a sock and disappear, They have a socking circle where' they make the socks into sock puppets for their children to play with and give plays. They leave no trace because they are Gremlins and they are very sneaky so are never caught. So take some old socks 'leave them out for the Gremlins then they will not steal good socks. Thats my story and Im sticking to it lollol. One original post , graphic made by P Hatley copyrighted 2016

I recently went on a shopping spree (I do that often) and bought something like a 12-pack of white socks. They're all the same. Buwaahaa!

yes that could be just remembering some years back I bought a pale blue denim skirt a pull on one and washed it in the apt complex wash room. I took it out and on one side of the skirt were many tiny holes like something in that machine had ate holes int the fabric. I wore it for a long time' as everyone thought it was supposed to be that way as the area looked like lace.some one had used that washer and used a strong chemical of s ome sort that ate holes in the fabric.

Yep, that's what happens around here. I discovered that when our washer started spinning wrong... pulled it out so I could tilt it up to get under it, and there's a half dozen socks hiding under it. Naturally not a single one matched another that was under there.

There also seems to be a teaspoon gremlin hanging around somewhere near the kitchen sink. Don't know what it does with them, though.

Ah. Finally the mystery is solved. No wonder I can never seem to find two of a pair of socks together after the laundry

I heard it was a monster that only has one foot so he steals only one sock and than you have no mate to one sock,
