We should do what is right and not what we like

Unless what we like is the right thing to do. For example, we like to be loving to our wives, filial to our parents, friendly to our neighbours and so on. In other words the priority is that the right prevails. If we just do the stuff that we like there will be chaos and disorder. For instance, thieves like to steal other people's possessions, terrorists like to hurt and kill innocent people and so forth. Do you think some people are taking the “human rights” too far?

Yes of course, talking mainly about terrorists and rapists! I don't know what kind of human they are and what kind of will power they possess that allows them to do such an inhuman act.

@Pass12 Yes, we are not just talking mainly about terrorism and other bad people. If we normal folks practise what is right instead of what we like the world would definitely be a better place to live in.

Values must be considered. But there are rights that come along with duties.

The rights stop where they become a treat for another human. This is what I think.

I think too many people are putting too much emphasis on rights and forget about responsibilities.
