Rain Rain Go Away

It started yesterday with occasional showers where the heavens just opened up and poured everything on us for a few minutes, followed by sunshine and intense humidity, and then more rain. Well I woke to more rain this morning, and looking at the forecast it won't be like yesterday, it will be solid all day.
It's a good thing I have nothing more planned for today than a trip to the pool. I'll be leaving soon to pick up my son for school and he's dropping me at the pool and picking me up after class. It should be a fun morning. He's then putting his application in here. So we'll see how soon he can move in.
How's the weather where you are? I hope all those caught in the path of the hurricane are doing well. Did I see right, is there another one in the Gulf too?

@Jessicalynnt I agree. He doesn't have a rental history because he lived with me for the past seven years.

We had a little rain on Sunday I believe it was. But, I like the rain so it isn't a problem for me.

@just4him .....I do wish we would get more rain here. It is nice and sunny but we won't have any for weeks probably.

@celticeagle Did the fires ever get put out or are they still fighting them. Rain would sure help with them.

Well, it's still supposed to be rainy season here, but it's mostly dry in the mornings and only rains in the afternoons or early evenings. But those could be thunderstorms. Just earlier today, it was raining so hard that our roof started to leak. 
Our old roof has long had this problem that it is now second nature for us to check the problem areas for leaks whenever it rains hard, (and pray that it stops soon).

We had a lovely day today, high about 75 and sunny. We won't get rain until Sunday but we really need it so we are hoping it comes.

i t'was plum tickled with the rains that came here courtesy 'f hurricane newton (the one that hit baja). hope ya enjoyed yer time't the pool 'n yer son hears soon. that'd sure save ya lots 'f wear 'n tear if'n he lived nearby, eh?

@just4him they denied him? i wonder why? perhaps jest t'weren't 'n the cards i reckon. glad to hear yer gettin' a bit 'f a break, hon. we've the predictions 'f some rain the next couple 'f days 'n i sure hope that such's so. although that's puttin' a monkey wrench'n my ranchin' buds plans'n bringin' calves'n fer the sale wednesday...

@crazyhorseladycx He doesn't have a rental history because he was living with me for the past seven years. Landlords like to see some kind of rental history so they know they will get their money when it's due.

It seems to. I can get into some unpacking when I get home, and did more this morning in the office. So that is now started.
