Our local YMCA closes for two weeks at the end of every summer. It allows them to do some much need repairs and upgrades. We started back today and it feels so good. We did notice that the women's shower room has a new floor and the parking lot has been repaved. It seems they have been quite busy in their two weeks. I really missed the exercise. I had hoped to keep up,our usual schedule in our own pool but much like New Year's resolutions, it was not that easy to carry out!! Hopefully, I will be more dedicated when we go to Florida for three months lol

We don't swim at this exercise and some of the people don't know how to swim, the pool is only 4 feet deep at the deepest and heated.

@BelleStarr Oh, I could do that since it isn't that deep. But I sure don't want anyone to see me in a bathing suit

I'm glad you were able to get back to your classes. I got back to the pool today too after being away most of last week with getting moved and only there on Friday before they were closed for the holiday weekend. It felt great to be back yesterday and today.

Is that you in the photo? I'm used to seeing more hair, so it doesn't look like you. When are you going to Florida?

rejoined the Y last week. I love to swim and water aerobics is not as hard on the joints as regular aerobics. Good luck setting up a regular routine.

With my back and leg issues water exercise is about the only thing I can tolerate. Whenever I go to therapy she always puts me in the pool I always feel so much better afterwards.
