Wonder why Filipinas are Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth among others? Obvious, because Filipinas are naturally and confidently beautiful with a heart.
Another reason is that we start from the roots. Beauty pageant titlist start at barangay during the fiesta. We always organize beauty pageant and beautiful ladies started their journey here.
Now, in our place, currently happening th Miss San Nicolas. Who know, Miss Universe might hail from this small town of Ilocos Sur. Today, the village and tomorrow the world.

Beauty pageant in the village are really the jumping point of the beauties.

I think I would enjoy Filipino culture. My Filipino buddy here tells me that things can be gritty, and that there's lots of corruption in government (here it's more subtle), but that Filipino people generally are nice and helpful to each other.

This make us, who we are. We always know how to smile and make things easy though situation is much worse.
