The last day or so I have been discussing with a few people, the use of herbs vs. pharmacuticals. I share with you a comment from Anna @LadyDuck •Switzerland "If you know the herbs you use it's fine to use them, but you surely know that some can harm. This is the case of marijuana. I am not against, but I think that not everybody can have free access to this product." This coment made me realize how lax I was to not atleast include a warning. Something so second nature to me that I forget to mention is "research". Whether it's a prescribed medication or an herb suppliment, I always look it up on the internet; chemical compounds, uses, and most importantly I go to a site that let's me compare my whole list of herbs and meds for interactions. I use It includes herbs and vitamins. Whatever you do, please be careful and research all herbs and meds before you add them to your daily routine. p.s. Even after look up there's no guarantee of the effects. I used to just look up one single herb or drug as I needed to add them. No red flags. Then I listed all my meds together. I was in shock at the result. Two medications that I have been taking together in the evening for over 14 years with no harmful effects, came up as "never rx these two together". I've had no problems and still take them together. They're benefits far out weigh the risk. What really bothered me is that none of my doctors picked up on it, not even the one doctor that prescribed them both. *be safe and well*

My step mom worked for a doctor, cleaning the office and his home, and she told me that the makers of these meds, the main companies, give free trips and stuff to them for " pushing" that new high price medication. Blood thinners almost killed Tony a couple weeks ago week, now he takes none and feels better. No he did not have a stroke and not his stents did not clog up.

Thanks for this site. I don't take many meds, but my husband has to take quite a few since his surgery two weeks ago. I will check them out.

Some interactions with herbs and pills can cause terrible side effects. I never take anything for granted and check everything first as I take a lot of pills/
