I discovered that I did not have much to eat for lunch today. And that I had not eaten much for breakfast as Leticia doesn´t come on Saturdays and I prefer to stay in bed mylotting. So I went to have a look a the fridge and I discovered several veggies that could be mixed into a frittata. I fried thin slices of zuchinni and sweet peeper. While they were frying (cooking in oil really) Y went to the garden for some chives. The rest was easy. Eggs, grated cheese, oregano, salt and pepper, some jamaican jerk I brought from the Caribbean and cooked it. It was delicious. Now to get ready for Sofía´s birthday. I hope she likes the play dough.

My daughter thothat the play dough was more expensive. But then we decided that it was because Sofía was always out of it.

That's what I love about frittatas . . . you can literally throw anything in there and it's good! Interesting with the Jamaican jerk! Ah, well hope Sofia has a lovely birthday and that she enjoys her playdoh (later on ).

The Jamaican jerk added interest to the frittata. Sofía loved her presents.

This is one of the easy lunches based on eggs that I make. The other is, of course, omelettes and tortillas.

The good thing about talking about food is that after that you proceed to eat!
