Alex Kolodziej reports the news on Saturday the Los Angeles Dodgers have activated from the 60 day disabled list outfielder Andre Either. Either suffered a broken right tibia when he hit a foul ball of his leg on March 18, 2016 during a Spring Training game. Either spent the entire 2016 Major League Baseball season playing baseball in a rehabilitation assignment with the Rancho CucamongaQuakes which is the Class A minor league team of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will be careful in giving Either playing time for the remainder of the current baseball season since the health of his outfielder is very critical for the Dodgers who are currently in first place in the National League West Division to stay healthy if the Dodgers are to have a chance to make it to the playoffs this year. The Dodgers designated for assignment right handed relief pitcher Casey Fien who was claimed off waivers on May 7 when the Minnesota Twins was released on May 5, 2016. It is possible that Fien will land on his feet with another team in the Major Leagues that will be needing his services as a relief pitcher for the remainder of the current baseball season.

For his sake I hope not. Andre seems to be a good guy off the field.
