Time for Bed

Barely past 8 PM but if I don't get to bed now, I won't be able to get up when my son gets off work and brings the car so I can get him back to his girlfriends and then get back here for more sleep before I get up for church in the morning. He gets done with work at 2 AM and though I've stayed up that late in the past, I haven't been able to since he started on this new schedule of his. He has his driver's test next week, and he's also planning to get a car of his own. When he does, I won't be hampered by a schedule like this, not that I mind, because I don't. I just need to be awake when he gets here. So I'm off to bed and I will return again tomorrow. I'm still behind on notifications. Tomorrow I start on September 6 and hopefully I can get two days done and bring me closer to being caught up. It was great reading all your great posts today. I got a late start on here, but at least I did get here to visit with as many of you as I could. You all have a good day/night wherever you are and I will see you tomorrow. Thanks for reading.

That has to be a little hard to have your sleep interrupted like that. I used to have to do the same thing when my son was at home and didn't have a car.

@simone10 Too much relief as it turns out. I miss all the interaction with him. I haven't seen him or talked to him since he got his car last week.

It is, but I get used to it, so it's not too bad. Now that he has his license, he'll be getting a car.

No. My son never had a license. So this is his first and he passed, so he won't need to take the driving test again.
