Sunshine is beaming, It's saying good morning. A fresh way to begin A beautiful day. The sky is crystal blue. The temperature is 62 degrees, And the wind is asleep On this beautiful day. The robins are chirping. The squirrels are playing tag. And children are waking up To this beautiful day. The television is blasting. Football games to watch. Smashing, tackling, rushing, There goes your enjoyment Of this beautiful day. But some of you are walking In the park or in the woods. Some of you are dancing Among the plants and the trees. And some of you are meditating While giving thanks to all that you have. Thankful, reflecting, On this beautiful day.

I wish I was walking in the woods right now, but with my painful knee I can hardly walk at all today! I really should never have taken up running. I'm sure that's to blame. It's such a beautiful day here as well. Makes me want to be outside.

I can relate. I have ankles that can be painful at times.
