Thank God It’s Back to Work Again !

We just had a long weekend this past Saturday to Monday , since Monday was a holiday here in the Philippines . We were just at home , except last Sunday , when I attended the mass and passed by the supermarket . I didn’t even go to my parents’ house. I texted them it’s too hot outside to commute . It was 3 days of no work , yet I felt like I was tired . Why ? I was the cook for our lunch and dinner except , last Sunday and the weather was very hot . The olds at the house are always so happy when I am at home , because they said they get to eat delicious foods. Well, that was a big compliment to me , specially when Auntie gushes over the foods while eating them . Besides the cooking, I had a general cleaning of our bedroom . cleaning those window screens and the windows and changing the curtains . I have OCD thing that’ why. Well, anyway , yesterday after lunch , I really was so lazy , I was just in bed , playing on my phone at the same time watching TV , while hubby napped. I only get to myLot in the evening and wow , there were plenty of notifications that I have commented back . And thank God , it’s back to work again today , Tuesday . At least , it will be so cold at the office and no cooking .

You're happy that it's back to work with the kind of work that you're doing now but if you were in the bank, you'd wish there was no long weekend hahaha!

Oh yes , that is correct . Long weekend would mean lots of deposits . And the day before the long weekend will start there will still be accommodations for those valued clients who would like to deposit to fund for their checks' issued .

@SIMPLYD I'd have the most burden because I'd be the last man out - balancing all transactions of the branch. Getting out of the house for a while - we're buying dog food as my wife will be leaving for Cebu tonight to get the wedding rings of my daughter and her boyfriend. See you later :)

I guess you are used to going to places that's why . Actually , i like just being at home . With the internet alone, i can do a lot of things . So much things to do , so little time . Sometimes , i would like to just play on my phone , wants to watch TV , wants to myLot and see what my friends are posting at FB .

It's hard to cook when the weather is still hot and humid. I have guests next week and a friend will stay at our home for a few days. I am ready to cook.

Well, had i been so rested and not cooked in cleaned , sweating because of the hot weather , i would have liked to still be in holiday mode . At least at the office , i am just in front of my computer or going upstairs to my boss for instructions or just within the office , where it is so cold . No sweating because of the heat .

What, begging to go back to work. What did you do with rebel women. Just kidding sometimes vacations are more work than work at least energy wise. Fun, but need to get back to the routine. To much head spinning, that is what I think. lol

That is true . At home , sometimes i cannot take it that i don't clean even our bedroom and won't cook when it's i who can cook the delicious foods they have been longing for the past days of the weekdays when i am at the office . Thus wasn't that much rested during the long weekend , so the said desire to be back at work .

I plan to be still at work up to 65 . But let's see , as plans changes when good things comes . Actually , my dishes are "pambahay " only . Simple dishes , but i don't know why they find it delicious . Perhaps they are tired of eating the same dishes they cook for the weekdays when i am at the office .

I actually like cooking because i am a foodie too . I like delicious viands . However , when the weather is so hot , i feel like not cooking . But they are expecting me to cook whenever i am home . So, when i go to visit my parents which is every other Saturday , they seem sad that they won't be eating a delicious one .
