Long day

Since either I or the roomie weren't feeling well over the weekend, we didn't get much done, including the shopping we needed to do. So, whether or not I felt good, I had to shop today, I didn't have the cat litter to change out the boxes. However, I also had a bunch of other shopping I needed to do. First, however, I stopped at the vet to pick up the old dog's pills. Since its the vet's short day, I needed to get that out of the way early. From there I ran to Fiesta, because they are the only one who have cheap, and safe, Benedryl knock off. While I was there I also got the ginger paste the roomie wanted and I found some bean chips for me. Then I started heading back north, stopping at the closest Home Depot for some high temperature paint. As I was checking out, Maggiepie called and said she needed a few things. Well, she got lucky because I was both close to an HEB and close to her place. I went over there and got what she needed and the few things that we needed. Probably I could've gotten those things at Fiesta, but I didn't think about them then. After I left HEB I went by her place and dropped those things off. Then I went by the post office to put a package in the mail for the roomie's nephew and family. By this point it was after 1, and I was getting the shakes. Since I had fruit in the car, I decided to go on home and eat something. I did that, and waited until the shakes went away, then I was off to Sam's for that all important cat litter. I got several other things, but the litter was what I couldn't do without. With Sam's out of the way, I went to see if I could find a close spot at Cost Co. This time, I did! The roomie was running out of soy milk and wanted me to look for some gluten free noodles or the like. I found some, and got the chicken tenders that we like from there. After getting home and unloading what I had to have to do the cat boxes - and a few other things, I turned my attention to the cat litter. I finished that up shortly before 5. The roomie got off work at 6 and came into the front room. Now, since June, the front room has been a disaster area with stuff from Maggiepie's apartment. Now... well, we put stuff in the "bead" room, the "media" room and the "guest" room. I put them in quotes because that's what we call them, right now we couldn't use any of them for those purposes! The closest would be the "guest" room, but it would take some serious rearranging to do it. I'm not going to say that the front room is back where it was when we had it nice, but it is much better. In fact, another day would probably bring it back into order. But I really need to stop buying books...
