A Sunday morning to think.

I will be alone all day today. Probably I will watch some local TV to see what celebrations people are having in our Independence Day. But mostly, I will thank for what I have. Yesterday I went to one of my friends´ birthday party. WE don´t see each other much and when I invite him to one of my partys, his wife does not come. She has to stay to take care of the children. They have a severelly retarded child (over 30 years old, but he does not speak and never will). And then, after almost 20 years they parented a daughter and she was born with a severe eye problem. The eyes don´t look at the same thing at the same time and I learned yesterday that probably she will end up blind.. Lili told me on the way back that she had talked to Manolo and that only in China there was someone who could help her. I am so sorry! And it is all so sad!

This is so horrible. Is there a way to create a group to collect funds to send this girl to China? It's so sad to know that she will end up blind when someone could help her.

@LadyDuck I know someone here who studied medicine in China. I might ask after I know more about the problem.

@marguicha In China they use different methods, I know that they perform Acupressure for the Eyes, this is something we are unable to do in our countries.

This is very sad for the couple. A double dose of bad luck.

@JudyEv Their whole life was changed 30 years ago, when they turned from carefree youngsters to parents of a severe disabled baby.
