Sweating Out The Anxiety

It is time for me to get out there and start sweating the anxiety about the Wednesday cataract surgery. Yes, I am on my way out to do some lawn mowing, that will help me to take my mind of what's coming. Then, it will be shower time which will relax me some more, then lunch time. If I am still too anxious after all that, I will have to do some vacuuming, another stress helper. What do you do when you are too stressed?

You are doing the right thing by keeping yourself busy and keeping your mind occupied. I do the same thing if I am feeling stressed. Everything will go just fine Wednesday! Wishing you all the best!

When I am too stressed I keep me busy, more or less exactly what you are doing right now.

Ah, well it's good to be productive when you're stressed - at least you get some things done!! I'm keeping good thoughts that all will go well and smoothly for you on Wednesday!

I don't often get stressed but when I do I yell at my husband since he's the only one I have. See, the time went pretty fast didn't it...soon it will be all over and you'll be saying how easy it was.

I went out and did the front lawn (it was pretty hot) and now I am so tired that I don't have the energy to worry. So, I would say that it did work pretty well.

I usually do housecleaning if I can't get out to walk. Don't worry about the surgery, it's a breeze.

@marlina glad it went well, I had no problems with my surgery and now I wear much thinner glasses. I really wouldn't have to wear any at all, but they sharpen my vision just a bit..

@RubyHawk I will need glasses for reading, I didn't before. That will be a nuisance.

Just do everything and anything that keep my mind on other things. I wish you luck and hey, they do say it is a piece of cake if it is done by laser. Sending up a prayer that all goes well and just keep you mind on other things. Put on something great to watch or some favorite music. Virtual hugs @marlina

Good luck to you! When I'm stressed, I get knots in my stomach and double over with pain. That happened last night. I was stressed about my husband's arms. Getting onto all fours helps.
