Freezer Meals???

I will be going in to have 3 wisdom teeth removed early part of next month. I was just sitting here thinking about what to do for meals for that week. I know I personally will be stuck with soup and soft foods. My oldest son is old enough to cook so I am thinking about making and freezing casseroles. That way my husband or my oldest can just pop one in the oven and bake it. My husband also works evenings so it will help a lot to have stuff prepared for quick fixes. Any suggestions that might help make the week of recovery easier for me and my family?

Marie Calendar's frozen dinners I think are the best around.

@LCaldwell See I don't have growing boys so to me it would be worth the money. LOL.

@AbbyGreenhill I love Marie Calendar's once in awhile for a "treat". My kiddos usually get themselves pizza rolls or burritos when I get me that. I would end up spending $10 a day just for 4 frozen meals not including our sales tax. Anything extra to go with the dinner alone would be even more money.

Yes, but costly when feeding 3 growing boys and a husband. Lol I am going to make and freeze homemade casseroles and meals that are freezer friendly. I prefer homemade over processed as much as possible.

That is very thoughtful of you. I might suggest that if there is a Trader Joe's near you, that they have some very good frozen Indian foods that are quite quick and delicious. We keep some on hand for those times when we are rushed.

I wish we had a Trader Joes. We are stuck with 3 grocery stores. The main one is Walmart.
