Someone ever told me that eating yoghurt with a metal spoon would destroy the benefits that the yoghurt can bring. Is it true? Do you eat your yoghurt with a metal or plastic spoon? Or have you heard of the above before? Do you like to eat yoghurt? When do you normally eat it?

There will be some chemical reaction to destroy some Lactic acid Bacteria, so you'd better use plastic spoon to eat . I like eating yoghurt and eat it after lunch, yogurt is wholesome beverage which helps alvine path health promoting absorb. I usually make yoghurt by myself at home.

@XinfulThotz Yeah, Displacement reaction will happen between H in acid and Fe in metal at ordinary temperature. You may absorb much more iron element which do harm to health. But if you use spoon made of copper, silver or gold, it will be safer. look at the activity series of Metals on the periodic table

yes! yes! that was what the person told me! Lactic acid Bacteria! Is it scientifically proven that metalic spoon destroy Lactic acid Bacteria? I tried to search but to no avail...

@XinfulThotz lol that someone must be trolling cause I have been eating yogurt with both type of spoons but the taste and my energy always remained constant

I don't know it at all. But usually I have the yoghurt with either china or plastic spoon because usually they are larger

First of all, I do not like yoghurt. I got a dislike for this item since my tenth standard. Not only me. There are many who don't like it. Do you like it?
