The reason myLot is different from facebook

Yeah...facebook seems like being constantly in some crowded carnival. Comparatively, myLot has a sense of sophistication about it. I am on facebook and I have not hidden my identity here. lol. But at times, I do show some personal aspects of me. :)

@vandana7 Absolutely! We are all sophisticates here on myLot. I'll go with that one.

Ranting has such a calming effect...in real life we have to bottle it up..as it can ruin relationship or affect job.

@vandana7 Yes you are right! Which is why I find myLot so therapeutic when I need to vent or something. Everyone is there for you. :)

I feel the same way. Here we relieve our stress ..as human beings we are designed to have individuality and therefore have differences with loved ones. When differences are kind of unpalatable, instead of bottling them up, we get an outlet. Therefore, myLot is considerably superior to facebook I feel. Almost a professional site

@garymarsh6 .. No way...somehow I am not sure you ever participate in fun talk. :) Peter (pgiblett) does at times...but he keeps that distance. So we tend to have different classifications...this person, I can't be cutting that kind of jokes type. :) WorDazza participates at times, pgntwo..often enough, but you come up with interesting stuff too...like how to address the royalty, and now you have one on Queen Victoria I think. :) I remember that hanged, drawn, and quartered thing was what I learned from you on Bubblews. And you also recommend interesting posts. :)

@vandana7 I think it has to be facebook as it is more personal. You can control what you see, hear and share with family and close friends. However that being said I like a lot of people on Mylot and would not mind some of them knowing me on facebook although I guess they would find me pretty boring!

Me too...on facebook I feel insecure. The best thing ..I can even be friends with Pakistanis...and they can joke and be friends with me. On fb...it would be a big SMH from all concerned and unconcerned. lol

@vandana7 MyLot breaks down all barriers. FB keeps them up.
