Okay, who knows what this lizard is?

This was a pretty big one who was hanging out on our acacia tree. I love the colors and the spiny scales. I live in Arizona but I don't often see guys (or gals) like this. The lizard measured maybe eight inches long, possibly a little less. I can tell he's lost his tail and is in the process of regrowing it. So, does anyone know who this Tucson beauty might be?

Looks like a male desert spiny lizard (Sceloporus magister) to me.

@sallypup Yes, and sometimes plant matter and fruits. Plenty of bugs around here for him He eats grubs, too.
