Slow Downs

I get very frustrated with slowdowns, especially when they are beyond my power to deal with.
The man who has the lawnmower we want to buy, who said it would be ready this week, has not called us. He has not moved it to work on it. We have not given him any money, so that is alright. I will just have to use a regular mower and get things done.
My husband INSISTED we had to pick up that new stove Thursday night. So that made four nights this week we were out late. We put it in the living room to get it out of the truck so he could take the truck to work. He has not disconnected the old one yet. I am ready to fume.
Last night, Friday, we drove to a near by town for a German buffet. He ate too much and had no energy to do it. I have a long weekend. . . it is going to be spent trying to get things done.
The late nights away from the computer have made it very slow for me to do anything here on myLot as well.
I guess I should find an image of a snail for this post, but I will not take the time. It may slow me down. How are you doing with stuff?

Argh! Time certainly goes by way too fast, but not necessarily people's actions! Right now I have a load on my plate with our schedule til early December - I don't know how we are going to make it through (though I know we will). It's just going to be super hectic from now on

Yes, one day at a time. That is how I made it through my training evenings this week. I am glad they earned both continuing education credits and pay for me, though.

Oh, I am so looking forward to making meals on that new stove. I will get the stove switched out and at least mow the front that people see here.

That all does sound frustrating, Heather.
I'm making progress on my paint by number. I was just working on it on weekends. But I really would like to finish it and start another. So I've been working on it some every day. All those little tiny spaces, lol. It's a victorian house & garden, it's going to be very pretty.

men frustrate me. I wish mine had the same opinion of things needing to be done that I did, stuff might actually get accomplished now and then, things we need rather than just want the man wants

@GardenGerty pretty much, and if you keep asking you nag. it's beyond frustrating. I am sick of looking at a couple of his messes, I wait a few days and ask again, and then I am nagging. no you said you would do that FOUR WEEKS ago,. that is not nagging, this is me being pissed

Sometimes, yes, we need slow downs, but not in home maintenance. It is very foolish to let things fall to pieces.

Sure is, but the stove is in and put together and hooked up to the gas so we can cook at home more easily and enjoy it.

Well, the stove is done. Hubby is reading his book. I do not get much help out of him in the house. He does a lot with the cars, though. I like to let him take it easy on the weekends, but I do get very impatient, cause it is the only time we can work on stuff together.

I know how hubby is and I may just have to nag a bit. The man with the mower, who knows? It is dark and cloudy now and I would love a nap, or supper, or both. Oh, but the stove is up and working now.
