Which one is the right one?

So I want to start back to doing videography and recording things for my youtube channel, but of course, I don't have a whole lot of money to pull it off. So I was doing a lot of research last night and I came across a product that seems like it would solve a lot of the problems I have with videos that I want to produce. However, there is one huge problem; there are several knock offs of this product. So, in essence, it is very difficult to know which is the real one and I don't wanna have to go through the trouble of shipping it back if it doesn't work for what I need it for. So what should I do, I have been looking everywhere for the right one and I simply can't decipher among all the results if I would get the real one or a knock off.

I never have this problem with Linux, because quite all software are free. I have tested everything, and there is only 1 decent screen caster for Linux, Vokoscreen, it made the choice easier...

Is it for marketing purpose or you want to monetize the Videos?

Its a capture card to capture video from my game console to my computer. It could also give me a view from my camera when I am in front of it since my camera LCD doesn't swivel to the front.

@TheDemonicAngel It will work only if you have a fast computer. How are you doing now ? Are you connecting the console to a home DVD burner ?

@topffer I have never recorded from my console before, I never really knew how to do it. So I was researching the capture card method because I know a lot of people that use them.
