How Do You Deal With Irritating People?

What do you when you get pissed off with someone else? I'm a person who doesn't talk a lot and I usually avoid getting into argument with anyone. I have this co-worker I get pissed off most of the time. I easily get irritated with her but I couldn't tell her straight that her behavior bothers me. I do not want to dwell on my negative emotions so I'm doing my best to ignore her behavior and instead focus on her positive aspect. I just want to know the best way to deal with her because I want to be a better person. I do not want to be always irritated or angry with somebody else especially with someone I work with all the time.

Good thing you can still be civil with her despite the fact that she annoys you always . I can say that you are have a good control of your emotions. I bet, if that is my situation , i would avoid the person , so i won't be stressed whenever i see her .

Yes, it's easy to avoid her if I'm not working with her everyday but my work requires that I should be with her most of the time. Lucky me...

I just let them do what they are doing. By the way, I am not included in thier business. I just keep quiet.

Yes, the most effective way is to ignore and believe she does not exist. But what if you can't avoid that person because her table is just beside and you bump into her everyday?

If you do not feel you can confront her about it then I would say ignoring her is the best thing.

I am also one who tries to avoid conflict so I would probably ignore her as much as I could.

Good for you @simone10. It's always easier to avoid conflict than being part of it.

Ignore them totally. Pretend that they don't exist at all.

I think you can ignore her and keep your distance. What is she doing that is ignoring?
