Are you and early bird or a night owl

I am and always have been a night owl. I am very happy sleeping until 11 or noon and going to bed after midnight.
I was always this way and I use to drive my parents crazy when I was younger. When I became a teen I would stay up for hours on the weekends and during the summer. Many times I would rearrange my bedroom or even paint the walls around 11pm.
My youngest grandson is just like me and I always love when he comes here for a visit. The two of us stay up for hours. He is 15 now but did this with me for years.

In my younger days I could stay up all night - now I'm lucky to be awake at 9 pm.

I am a bit of both. I usually go to bed anywhere from 1-2 am and am up no later than 7, usually between 6 and 6:15. Some afternoons I struggle with being super sleepy. Sometimes I'll nap but mostly I'll get a cup of coffee and keep on going. Have a blessed day.

I think I am a night owl.
It's 03.49 and here is me posting on an internet forum.
I will go to sleep soon though and then be up about 11AM.
I remember once laying a new lawn and started digging the ground up at 1AM.
Didn't bother me. It was a fine summer night. Garden well lit up. Wife thought I was quite mad. But I had peace and quiet to do it and made a really good job of it.
Utilisation of time.
It's great being a night owl - isn't it?

@saulgoodman It is great being a night owl. Nothing is worse than going to bed early when I am not tired and then I toss and turn all night. I sometimes get up and start doing things.

@saulgoodman That is funny. My husband goes to bed at 8 pm and watches his games that are on and this way I have the tv in the living room and watch all the day time shows that I record. It works out great.
He gets up at 6am and I get up between 10-11 as I don't get to bed until 1 or 2am.

My mom was very strict with our sleeping time. We must be in bed by 8pm. On school days we are not allowed to watch tv. On weekends tv is until 9pm only and we must be in bed by then. That training made me become an early bird. Until now, I still wake up pretty early in the morning no matter how late I sleep at night.

Now I am still working in the school and have to be an early bird during weekdays. But when weekends come, I do not rise as early as usual. Also I love to sleep late till after eleven or twelve, but now I am trying to make myself sleep early because of HBP that needs me to have good sleep.

I'm a night owl too. When I was younger, I used to stay up late during the summer months. These days, I'm a little bit of an early bird. I wake up in the mornings so I can get more work done. But on weekends, I'm a night owl.
