So Donald! What Are you Hiding?

So Donald reckons Hillary isn't physically up to the job. Hillary reckons Donald is hiding something shady in his tax returns. So if he is, what exactly could it be? Has he failed to declare his Non Executive Directorship role at popular right-wing publication Xenophobia Today? Will publicising his tax returns reveal his full name to be Donald Lucifer Beelzebub Satan Trump IV? Surprisingly, neither of the above are true but I do have it on absolutely no authority what so ever that Donald has been a very naughty boy and, for the past few years, has failed to declare his earnings from listing his hair on the small rodent version of Airbnb? Can't be too much of a loss to the public purse! What self respecting rat would choose to slum it in that thatch??

@Drosophila I found it hilarious that when he made those remarks about stopping Muslims coming into America a group of people in the UK were so disgusted at him wanting to stop people from entering his country they tried to have him prevented from entering their country. The irony was obviously lost on them!

As long as it keeps him in there then I'm OK with that!! Not sure the rest of the USA will be happy though!

Ok...here is my take...Trump is seriously into politics because his business is failing. Being a businessman he has decided to take a chance to recover his losses, and have tax laws as well as policies amended to suit his purse. That is why he is trying to get as much support as possible without really any intentions to keep his promises.

It was revealed last night that he pays no taxes. He sure does live high on the hog though. Why do I pay more that he does? His tax returns would tell. He's proud of it too. No shame, that man.

@ElizabethWallace Except for our good selves of course It's just emerged that he's been declaring huge losses for his companies so he can legally avoid paying tax on their future income. Maybe I should try that. "Err, excuse me Mr. Taxman but i spent more money than I earned last year, how about you allow me to pay less tax next year?"

I read a conspiracy theory which suggested Trump is only standing so that Hillary wins ... he comes across as an arrogant bigoted buffoon and she looks so good that she has to win. It seems plausible to me, except Trump may have garnered more support than expected. ;)

So, here's the scoop: The New York Times gets leaked copies of Trump's tax returns from 20 years ago, showing that he had a business loss large enough that he "could" avoid paying income tax for 18 years. Of course, no one knows if he did. But then Hillary's released tax documents shows that she used that same loophole to avoid paying taxes, so she didn't pay any either. And on top of that, the New York Times didn't pay any taxes. Clearly, no one pays taxes.

The only people who pay taxes are the ones who can't afford to employ someone to tell them how to avoid paying taxes!! I don't agree with this business of allowing companies to offset tax on future earnings against past losses. If i spend more than I earn I still have to pay taxes the following year!!! Businesses should too.

What a pair they are eh! When you think of how many millions of people there are in the USA who potentially have the right to stand for president of the US of A and the two that are up for choice are these two clowns. Heaven help us all!

As someone pointed out there are two independent candidates standing but they don't get a look in. Maybe, rather like it should be for the UK, it's time for the US to ditch the major parties and give someone with fresh ideas a chance.
