Falling Down Hurts!

We run all the time, but Tony is taking doctor orders and walking as much as he can, so he took the dogs for a couple laps. Then asked me to feed them and put them back up. I said, well one lap for me, so I made it a run. Yes a run around the field but Roscoe was wanting to play too. Me and Harley run good together but Roscoe did a double back on us and Harley stopped, right in front of me and I did the run trip thing and lost it, skidded across the grass, dropping Harley`s leash. Both dogs took off Harley dragging the leash, I yelled " wait on me!" And Harley ran Back to me laying on the ground. That was right before dark, I feel like I have been beat, my right arm hit harder as well as the right knee. I can walk for miles, run even, work all day doing hard labor but fall one time and I am feeling that pain.

I have read that walking is really better than running and easier on the joints as well. I hope that your injuries are not serious.

@andriaperry As I sat down in my desk chair last night, it scooted away and I landed on the floor. Fortunately, it did not hurt.

Oh, ouch. I had a student ask me if I can run. I told him "not very fast". I saw a staff member trip over a line in the floor today and that made me feel better, as I do stuff like that.

Never walked a dog, we have always had/or put up a fence just to avoid things like that.

They are fenced in the back yard BUT they love to walk with me, the beagle wont come back if he gets free, the retirver will mind me and is alway loose during walks.

Aww sorry to hear this! I never walk with dog or any animal in the Philippines because I know it is not safe. Sometimes there are other dogs here that will run and attack our dogs and the worst is if they bite human instead of other dogs. It happens here
