Can You Believe It?

I am forever finding stuff in this world that just totally boggles my mind...... Cry Wolfe is a detective show on the cable channel ID which has true crime shows. This takes place in Los Angelos California. Some of the stories about his cases are just bizarre. What people do to one another. For instance--This week a wife has asked for his help. She is suspicious that her estranged husband is funneling money out of their business to use for gambling. They have been married about 10 years and have a trucking company that was worth millions. Now recently she has found out that it is only worth $500,000. After about two years of marriage she contracted Lupus. She was very sick and her husband desserts her and says he got himself an apartment across town. He has filed for divorce and swares he has stopped gambling which had been a big issue in their marriage. Detective Wolfe begins his work by following the husband. He follows him to a parking lot at a certain hotel and meets with a guy who he gives a plump envelope. Wolfe wonders if he isn't still gamblng. Continuing the survailance the husband drives about twenty five miles and parks in front of a nice up scale home in a nice residual area. He goes up to the front door, unlocks it with his key and goes inside. Wolfe has his secretary check into the house, whose name is on the deed. A Sharon ? Wolfe goes to the wife's apartment to update her. Asks her if she knows of a Sharon ? The only Sharon she knows was a receptionist at the trucking company who quit about five years ago. Interesting. Now it just so happens that the date on the deed was about five years ago. Wolfe tells the wife and she is incredulous, wants to meet up with the husband at this residence. She goes up and knocks on the door. The OW Sharon answers: "What are you doing here?" "I want to talk to my husband!" Sharon is taken back. Husband? Husband comes to the door and wife starts in on him. He is cool, calm and collected. Answers her questions with "That's not important" and such. The OW is standing there awe struck. She has found out he is still married to the wife. She asked him:" What about our daughter?" Wife is livid after hearing this. OW is livid and gets even madder when Wolfe throws in that his is still gambling. So this husband desserted his wife, had been carrying on an affair for about the last five years. Had a daughter by this OW. Had lied to the OW telling her he had quit gambling and that he had gotten the divorce. Had used money from their business to buy a house and had basically started himself a new life. Had lied to his wife and the OW totally. The wife files for divorce and in her settlement she gets a cool $1,000,000 . I wonder if the OW doesn't leave him too. I hope so. Can you believe it?

Nothing surprises me much anymore of what people do to one another. No love, no respect. It's sad. I love Discovery Id channel and I have watched that show too. Have a blessed day

@bunnybon7 .....And dumb women put up with it. I have been watching this show called Arranged and the southern women 'take care of their men' I guess they would rather term it that way.

@celticeagle so many are selfish these days especially men. since i been here in Florida i came to the conclusion that southern men like to lay on their butts and get their women to just hand everything to them

Yes, me too. I was glad to hear the wife got a good settlement. She was sick and needed the money. The cheater can go straight to you know where for all I care. He was so selfish.

I watch the ID channel all the time and in the beginning, I was so shocked about what some people will do when I started watching some of the shows. Now, nothing really surprises me much. I hope the other woman does leave him too.

I do also. I watch the shows on there that tend to delve a little into why these perps do what they do. That is what I am truly interested in. Their background and what might be the cause of their evil doings.
