My hands are trembling: I pruned the ivy.

Just now, while Leticia was weeding (I caný do that as my tummy hurts where the lymphoma is) I started to prune the ivy I have in the fence. It is not an easy job and the scissors are much too heavy. While I was doing it, I thought that I should have paid someone to do the job. But there´s noone around. So I have to do it by myself. It was a pleasure to discover it was lunch time. Time to call it quits, I told Leticia. She wanted to finish a section so I came to cook some rice. I spilled a bit: my hand are trembling. It is just that my muscles forgot to do this work. It is time to say hello to life again. Even if it means learning how to walk again, so to say.

I have a lymphoma in my tummy. I had chemotherapy and it is on remission. Since then, my life changed and I´m more sedentary. But I live as well as I can and I have a good quality of life, better than many.

@bunnybon7 I suddenly realised a few years ago that I might not have a long life. So I´m going on vacations once every year as a way of celebrating life.

I don´t know if the things I have now are side effectsfrom the cancer, from the chemo or just the results of age. Still, this is the body we have now, and we have to do the best we can with it.

I guess you should start slowly in the gardening department, it is a lot more demanding than we think.

I pruned the ivy because tomorrow I have a lady coming to see my house to appraise it and say how much it is worth. And suddenly I became aware that that ivy was a mess
