My mother used to get up with the first cock crow ( 4 AM). She would light the oven with wood cuttings, wash dishes, cook breakfast, boiled a kettle of tea. By 7 she went to the tea estate to work. She returned in the evening. She cooked the supper. She was the last one to go to bed. She made innumerable sacrifices and suffered many pains to make our life comfortable. Thank you, Mom.
