Waiting For A Friend

Right now, we are waiting for a good friend of ours to come over for breakfast. It won't be long now. We always have a good time together. The weather is still pretty nice out there, sunny, not too cool and a blue sky, what more can we ask for the end of September. Yesterday, I saw some of my first colorful leaves around here, it is such a beautiful scene. There will be more coming in the next few days. Did not sleep again last night, so will have to do some napping later on and I don't like that at all. Did you have a good night sleep? I hope so.

I'm sure you will have a nice time at breakfast with your friend. It's cooler here and the leaves have begun to change color. Very pretty, but a lot have just turned brown and fallen from the trees due to our lack of rain.

@Marty1 They just started to change last week. Nothing much, yet, worth looking at. Most of the trees are still green.

@marlina No, not yet, we still have 13º Celsius during the night. The furnace is on automatic, it will turn on when we go down to 10.

We are beginning to see some changes here with the leaves. Probably in the next few weeks it will be popping with color. Enjoy your day. Hope you get a nap in and definitely hope you get a good nights sleep tonight. I got a pretty good one, only awake 3 times before getting up. Have a blessed day

By now you would have had a great time with your friend. It is fun really to have someone for breakfast. That someone would have to got up early to be at yours though

. Weather is fickle minded here. Just when I thought that we would have to start watering it rained heavily yesterday,.

Good morning......I'm dragging my tail because I tossed and turned a lot last night. Enjoy the sunshine we are having windy rain today and they are calling for it again tomorrow. Environment Canada warns we'll be in store for 60mm of rain before it stops-ugh.

@marlina Hmm. Even I have difficulties to sleep most of the time! I need something( like phone playing audiobook or music) or someone( my mom to talk to me till I sleep)

Our weather has remained in the 80's for the highs and I am loving it. I hope it holds up through Sunday evening when my daughter is having her baby shower outside in the park!

It wasn't a great night of sleep here either. My oldest daughter woke up with a bad nightmare and the baby was up 3 or 4 times through out the night. Bleh.
