Little Girl Pup Turns Big Tough Guy Into Mush!
September 29, 2016 3:05pm CST
When my husband took our rescue pup Molly to the dog park the other day, he told me that Dave, a burly fellow who owns two dogs of his own, was petting Molly. My husband was sitting at one of the picnic tables conversing with other dog owners. He saw Dave gently petting Molly's head, then turned to talk with other dog owners. My husband was able to hear Dave talking to Molly, however. In an oh-so tender voice, big-guy Dave told Molly, "Oh Molly, I love it when you have pretty bows in your hair. You are such a pretty girl. I do hope you get those pink bows in your hair the next time you go for your beauty appointment. The pink bows are my favorite." Big, strong Dave had no idea anyone had heard his conversation with Molly, but I am so glad my husband did. Molly will definitely have pink bows put in her hair at her next grooming session, for sure.

@Corbin5 So I was right. She does hate those things. xD Well duh, the expression on her face while wearing them in the photos on her ride from the groomers said that much. But now I know she actively rubs them off, man what a tomboy. :p

Most GSDs are just plain too smart to be obedient if we're not around which to me isn't really subborn but chows will look right atcha and not do what you want, now that's stubborn @Corbin5 American Bull Terriers can be that way too.

Nothing wrong with that and is rather humorous in a good way. Some men love the girly girls and some like girls who are not into all that girly stuff. Maybe that is why Brooklyn and I get along so well. She would never be caught with a bow in her hair and probably think she is the toughest female dog we ever had, not the meanest but toughest. Have to say Molly must look pretty with a bow with how long her hair is.
