Is this art? Or pornography?

OK, it's really neither, though my dirty window does make it a rather dirty photograph. I was hoping to get some amorous doves to appear right outside my window. So I put some bird seed out there on the railing. Usually I have to go all the way to my balcony to watch their antics. Instead, I was greeted yesterday by a sparrow, enjoying my seeds. I like the way the windows frames and balcony railing look. Their right-angleness provides a nice contrast to the nature outside. And the beauty of the top half of the frame contrasts with the...yes...that's a dumpster below. But what I really learned while trying to generate art is something simple: It's time to clean my windows.

I never ever clean our windows, my husband has always done it for me, and I am quick to tell him that nobody cleans a window like he does. Want me to send him over?

@TheHorse He's not very happy with me right now. I was outside and took the piece of eaves that I use to take water off of the pond, and when I went to put it back into the shed, the 1 half of the latch fell off-rusted. And it will be dark in a little while, he's in the garage now checking to see if he has a spare that he can get put on to keep it locked over night. Ooops!

@Juliaacv When I was in my garage recently the door knob fell off. I put it in the garage thinking I could just use the padlock to pull open the door, but I was wrong about that. Luckily, we have to disengage the rope that opens the larger door and I was able to open the garage that way yesterday. I'll need to get the doorknob fixed though, or anyone could open the garage the way that I did. I've not told my husband yet. He'd let me fix it anyway, I think.

Nasty dumpsters are like an all-you-can-eat buffet to pigeons and seagulls.

Maybe it's time to wash those windows. I do like the way the bird is perfectly framed by your windows.

My mind wanders a lot these days. I think that's a good thing. I used to be "good at stuff." I'm trying to learn to be "creative."

This is also a reminder for me, I have to clean the big double door windows leading to our balcony. It's the only one that I have not yet cleaned after the summer.

I don't know the dumpster does make the photo look trashy. It's fine have dirty windows though, at least you've acknowledged that they are dirty.
