Bextor’s Shoot From The Hip 2003 album is best remembered for carrying her Mixed Up World single which failed to light up the charts as well as her major hit Murder On The Dancefloor from her previous album. Strangely, Physical, a superior light, dream-like cover of Olivia Newton John’s 1981 hit from an album of the same name might have had more success had it not been presented as a hidden extra for UK audiences. More bizarrely, the song was never pressed onto international prints of the album at all. It has a sultry air of mischief lacking in the actual listed tracks and might well have done better than any of them for the daughter of Blue Peter presenter Janet Ellis, but alas, no Blue Peter Badge for her now.
