I had so much fun

Having @marsha32 along encouraged me to visit more stores. I need a shopping buddy. The shop hop is a success as far as I am concerned.
Neat little incidentals: In the second shop we visited in a really small town, I ran into someone who I had enjoyed working with in McPherson. Her mother-in-law owned the shop. Such a fun visit.
In the town where we began to have car trouble my niece came to see if she could help us out.
Marsha had never visited a yarn shop so we went into one near a quilt shop.
I can hardly wait to start sewing more. I was combining some pieces this evening.

I think the one in her town closed down several years ago.

Yes, we had one in town, and yes it closed down. They had open knitting group time that I was always going to check out but never got around to it.

Do you do a lot of needle work? The yarns have such rich colors.

Sounds like a very enjoyable outing. That is so nice. I haven't been in a yarn shop in years.

All I want to do now is sew, sew, and keep on sewing. I have my day at home today, but still not doing much online around sewing, but that is how I like it.
I put together the disappearing 9 patch and the disappearing 4 patch blocks from the patterns just to see how they are.
Now I'm working on finding strips for that pattern card I bought. But, I am also cutting strips for the rug and squares for the soscrappy blocks. I'm doing my usual...jumping around from project to project.

I don't think I saw the pattern card. Maybe when I come to Hutch in a week or so I can get with you.

She does not get too many breaks from family so I bet she did. It is easier to visit in person.

@GardenGerty yesterday I didn't accomplish much. I spent a lot of time on the computer. I was upset and then I knew I had no more than 15 minutes to work before I was headed out of the door again. Today should be a little better.

When I first met marsha she did not have a machine and she made many things with hand sewing.

I have never even heard of a yarn shop. Sounds neat I might have to see if there is anything like that around me.

I think it was quite productive. I know that one shop is going to be on my frequent list.
