buy something we have been longing for

Sometimes we long to buy a thing thinking it would be so useful....we would use it in this and that ..our life seems to be stuck without it ...
But when we succeed in buying it we simply do not use it....not more than once or twice..
Does this hold true for any of you also

@amitkokiladitya I have done this a few times but with little things. Nowadays I don't really buy anything unless I'm 100% certain I will use it often.

I find this most often with kitchen appliances. They're cool for a while, then they just seem to be in my way.
