The Associated Press reports the news on Tuesday the Baltimore Ravens have released their running back Justin Forsett after he asked their general manager Ozzie Newsome to grant his wish to seek employment with another team. Forsett played in the first three games of the 2016 football season before he was inactive for their fourth game versus the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Forsett was replaced by rookie Kenneth Dixon who returned from the injured list. Terrance West replaced Forsett as the top running back of the Ravens in the fourth week of the current football season. Forsett said the decision to seek his release from the Ravens was "mutual" since he is now free to seek employment with another team in the National Football League which may be needing his services.

Risky move on his part. He must be certain he will find a taker.
