Changed My Plan

This morning I wrote that I was going to walk and garden. I did the walking part. But then, I decided to go to the clinic for my blood test instead of tomorrow.
But then, I came back so tired that I have to postpone my gardening for now. I will have to take a short nap just to recuperate some energy.
I am upset because it is such a gorgeous day out there, I should be taking advantage of it.
What kind of weather are you getting at your location?

Walking and gardening are the two activities I have been doing most of all to help me get fitter again and more active.
Very much like you today I one day about a month ago found that I was a bit puffed after a clinic and decided not to do gardening.
My wife suggested that perhaps the gardening which includes mowing a very big lawn would be enough and I think she was right.
Our lawn is 60 yards long by 25 yards wide and is on a slope.
Each cut of the lawn is 18 inches which meansI am pushing the mower up and down 50 times which is a mind boggling 3000 yards.
The best part of 2 miles and the petrol mower is heavy. The grass is spongy and mossy which makes the mower sink in a bit.
As s result I have cut back on the walking.
It was quite pleasant here today but a bit chilly and I really did miss getting out to the garden and the fresh air.

@saulgoodman You are lucky if all that mowing did something great for my legs, it doesn't seem to have made one bit of difference in mine.

Its done wonders for my legs. You should see me in my leather black kilt!!
I keep doing it every week until December. Try to eliminate the moss.
Last winter was mild hence the amount of moss this year.
Its hard work.
Earlier in year it was taking me over 2 hours.
Now just half that time.
And my legs.......

We have had clouds and wind today, but much cooler than it has been. I'm hoping this cool air will ward off Hurricane Matthew!

I'm sorry you weren't able to get in your garden. It's cloudy here and I think it's raining, but it's dark now so I can't see, but the way the traffic sounds, it sounds wet out.

It's drizzling rain again. I don't think it has stopped for months! I'm getting heartily sick of it.
