Associated Press reports the news on Thursday Baltimore Orioles pitching coach Dave Wallace resigned from his position after spending the last three seasons with the team. Wallace, 69, is hoping to stay in the game of baseball as a part time instructor either in the Major League or Minor League level since he has 36 years of coaching experience. The Baltimore Orioles lost to the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League Wild Card Game on Tuesday by a final score of 5-2 in 11 innings. Buck Showalter who is the manager of the Baltimore Orioles said the team will be searching for a new pitching coach to replace Wallace before the start of the 2017 Major League Baseball season. One candidate to replace Wallace is current bullpen coach Dom Chiti who has worked with Wallace during his time with the Orioles. Wallace pitched as a right handed relief pitcher with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1973-1974 and the Toronto Blue Jays in 1978,
