Let's talk about Photobombing - Get out of the way!

One of my biggest annoyance are those who photobomb. Yeah, it may be funny if it's your friends or something but strangers, common! When I'm trying to take a picture of something, someone (that I know of course) -or- having my photo being taken, you may come across "that person/people" who have nothing better to do and want to jump into your photo intentionally. As a common courtesy, if I see people trying to take a photo - I will walk out of the direction, or quickly pause so they can hurry and snap their photo. Why? I don't want to be in their photo! There are times where we can't help it because it's a busy traffic so if the back of our heads or whatever, yeah sure. But I try not to be in people's pictures. How about you?

I always would stay away or pass by another direction when i see that there are people taking their pictures . That's the way we should respect other people who are taking their pictures .

some people are "blur like sotong". they are so oblivious and unaware of their surroundings. they don't know where they are going and all, let alone being aware that you are taking a picture.

I would step back out of their way as a courtesy, not just because I don't want to be in their picture.

I would hate to be in peoples pictures and then they post it on social media, etc. Or what if my face was angled funny or something?

Hehe..I love to photobomb with my friends. And I never had any problem with the people who came in the photo..so I never even noticed if they are coming intentionally or not

I would never photobomb on purpose, but if its a public place and need to get from point a to poin b, 'm not going to spend a lot of time standing in one spot waiting for someone to take a bunch of photos. Most tmes people are just taking one photo and I'm okay waiting, but other times they are taking tons of pctures, or taking too long to set up the "perfect" spot, and if I can't go behind them I just gotta go through.

That is understandable but there are random people who photobomb on purpose and enjoy it! If I can go around, I will. But if it is a tight spot and they're taking their sweet time - I will continue on like you mentioned, I will go through too. It depends on the situation but for the most part - I will try to go around.

No, no way would I want to be in stranger's pictures... If they ask me to take a picture of them then I'd do it, but I don't want to be in their pictures...

I agree. Now, 'photobombing' among friends is supposed to be a prank which is acceptable in a party atmosphere, during a 'act foolish' moment. But, generally, photo taking is a personal event that deserves respect.

Yes photobombing is okay with friends/family, just not strangers unless it's in the environment. I don't prefer it though!

I am like you, when I see someone taking a photo I stop or I try to move in a way not to disturb the photo. It is very common that people do not pay attention.

@infatuatedbby Some people are rude, if they are taking pictures they stay there forever, if you are taking pictures they come in front of you and do not care at all to spoil your shots.

I don't like people in my photos when we travel, but most are kind and thoughtful people and pause. Otherwise, never had that problem.
