Today is a beautiful day! The sun is shinning and the trees are full of color. The drive to and from church was wonderful and enjoyable. Our Pastor and his wife gave a great sermon on the "Holy Spirit". How He is our Helper, Friend, Comforter. Jesus said; "I must go so that the Comforter, the "Holy Spirit" will come. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life! When we believe in Jesus ask forgiveness of our sins the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us keeping us until Jesus returns for us to take us home with Him. He is thee most important Person you'll ever know in all your life. As a relationship with Him assures you of a place in heaven with Him for eternity. I know if I were to drop dead right now I will go to heaven. Do you know Jesus friend? Picture by bing.com

The teaching this morning was also on the fire and power of the Holy Spirit. It was great!

@just4him Our Pastor and his wife have been teaching on the Holy Spirit for the past 2 weeks. It's been awesome. Really encouraging us to build that one on one relationship with the Holy Spirit! Sounds like the Lord is really speaking to His church about the Holy Spirit as we need His help in this life and in our lives as things grow darker in this world and sin is on an upward move. I pray Jesus would baptize me in the Holy Spirit and with fire! Do you pray in the spirit (tongues)?

@Butchcass4 Yes, often. I've noticed that when God is moving in a certain area, the body of Christ is preaching the same message in all his churches. So it doesn't surprise me that the church is preaching on the Holy Spirit. It's a much needed message as the Holy Spirit isn't as well known as the Father and Son, and his is the more important work as he is the one who leads us to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

@just4him Yes you are right. The Holy Spirit is not as well known as the Father and Jesus Christ. But Jesus said; "I must go so that the Comforter will come" He will lead and guide you in all ways. He will tell you what to say when necessary. Holy Spirit we invite You here at myLot land and ask that You would work through our discussions and comments to those who don't know and those who are struggling in Jesus' name Amen
