What do you do on a free day?

Today, Monday, Oct. 11, is a holiday from school. I get to do whatever I want all day!
But wait! The house needs cleaning. I am washing blankets because it's starting to get colder. I am washing rugs because... well, because I have cats...
I am cooking because that makes the rest of the week easier.
I am on myLot because it's fun.
I have a book I want to finish. Will it get finished? I don't know.
I want to go shopping in the car to Rogers where I can buy lots of cat food and litter for much cheaper than I can nearby.
I want to spend some quiet thoughtful time.
Most of this gets eaten up by... HOUSEWORK!
What do you do when you have a day off that is extra from your usual day off?

Mine is good so far. The washing machine is doing most of the work for me. I just have to hang things up after it's done. It is one of my electronic servants.

@petatonicsca I can still remember when my mother got her first electric washing machine. It made such a difference to her workload.

I used to do Bubblews during my spare time. Now I need to get back in the habit. However, I also need to read actual books, made of paper, not online. That has always been my habit until recently. I seem to have dropped it for reading things online, which is probably not good for my eyes.
