Not my favorite place but a bit better

So my friend Cheryl, yes she is now my friend called me a few minutes ago asking me when I could come to stay there with her. Of course I would only stay long enough to get my own place little does she know. I am quite tired of not having any real say about who stays and who don't and the rules I need to have to survive longer.
Actually what to do about Coco is my biggest problem right now besides certain people living with me. I never truly loved Arizona but I really hate Florida. sorry to those that love it. I guess if you have had great times some place you do love it. or maybe it is if its your home state. I know I love Ohio best but people tell me the winter would be more then I could take these days in my present state of health. sadly.
so as I told her I am still working things out in my mind here. as I am not getting money for another week yet.
Coco is off and on with her health. Its like she is well and puppy like for several days then a couple of bad ones. I just keep wondering if it is because I brought her here where all my dogs have seemed to stay sick. Lost my first dog Bear because of allergies, fleas, and arthritis here a few years ago. do you have a special state or province? is it because it is where you was born or just where you have been happiest?

@paigea . . . You don't like the Okanagan Valley, my friend? We lived there for 6 years and the weather is warmer than here in Calgary.

sounds like a good reason to stay. i wish i could have seen Italy in my lifetime but likely never will. i think its so beautiful from photos i have seen

I heard Switzerland is an ideal place to live. And the Swiss banks are the favorite of wealthy people to hide their millions.

@antonbunot It's finished now for the wealthy people, they cannot hide their money anymore. Switzerland has signed treaties, you have to prove that you declare the money in your country and pay the taxes to open an account. Now those who want to hide their money go to Dubai.

love, love, love that pic! i reckon i'm outta the 'loop' yet 'gain? i do hope that'cha make't back to arizona though. i know 'tis hotter'n the devil, but 't least 'tis a dry heat 'n less likely to weigh so heavily'n yer lungs. sad to hear that ms. coco 'tis ailin', hon. that's a pitfall 'f our canine friends i fear. they lack longevity :( perhaps why i'm fondest 'f horses? if'n all goes well, they can live to be'n their late 30's, early 40's.
i do feel that the folks yer livin' with now're jest suckin' the life outta ya. dunno how yer gonna make the trip through? 'tis ms. cheryl gonna come'n fetch ya'n yer schtuff?
i'd a 'special place', many years 'go 'n wish quite oft i could return there. sadly 'tis been commercialized, that mountain marred by mankind 'n his greed.

@crazyhorseladycx i hope so. but sadly coco is not going if and when i can. she is to miserable and will be put to sleep today i think. just can't go on watching her suffer and no way to find out whats wrong or what to do about it. vet has stated several problems with her. that can't be fixed. shes to old

sorry about that lovely place lost to you. sadly i will probably have to try the airline again and hope i get one that will workout this time. will have to get my stuff shipped again except my personal needed belongings in suitcases. she will pick me up at the airport though. i do have a couple other friends there. i am just so sick of how it has went here in spite of all i have tried1 person likes this

@bunnybon7 t'was inevitable, i fear. folks get greedy 'n somebody bought the place'n turned such 'nto a rock quarry :( broke my heart to see 't, 'long with all the other 'commerce' that replaced my beloved cabin...
oh, i hope that flyin' works out well fer ya, hon. can ya fly ms. coco?? i aint familiar with flyin', so dunno the 'critter rules'. sounds like quite a bit'f plannin' needed - but i'm kinda relieved that'cher goin' back. a less stressful environment'd be good fer yer soul. big hugs!!

I'm sorry things are rough where you are. Wisconsin is okay, yes I was born here. I've lived in California, it's okay too, but not somewhere I would want to call home. I've also lived on Guam, and that is a place I would love to call home, though it doesn't have the four seasons, so that might be a problem. I want to see Alaska, a place I would love to call home, but I won't truly know that until I get there and experience it for myself.

I really only know Kansas minus a couple years that I lived in Oklahoma. I would love to be somewhere where it's not cold!!
What I read here sounds like you might really be doing what I've been saying for years that I would like to do....run away to get away from the craziness of life here, including the crazy in my own home.

when I was your age, I ran somewhere else when I did not like where I was. I stopped for several years now, but it is getting to where I have to again even though I no longer like moving

Well, Kelowna of the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia (Canada) is the place I want to live when I retire. We lived there for 6 years and we loved it because of the weather. It is warmer than here in Calgary. Winter is not very cold and short. During summer we used to buy our vegetables not from the grocery stores but we used to go to the farm and bought fresh vegetables, fruits, and corns.

Yes. Malaysia. I was a child there. was there for around 3 years.
The only reason i loved the place where i was born was because my grandmother (mom's mother) was there...and i loved her the best of all my grandparents....but since she passed away...that place has lost all meaning for me.
