A Good Day So Far

Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone. I am happy to say that for now, I am feeling pretty good so I hope it will last as I need to catch up on some things around the house. I went to the rheumatologist yesterday and didn't leave knowing anything more than when I arrived. She did set me up for referrals to other doctors. I have so many referrals now that I have to go to this month that I am going to have to call and reschedule some of them. There are about 8 of them which includes a couple of specialty doctors as well as labs and xrays. I am so tired of doctors right now. My rheumatologist did set me up to see a podiatrist for my feet. She examined my feet and noticed that my toes were cold. She asked if I had ever had any circulatory problems which I haven't. That could be what is causing my foot pain. I hope the podiatrist will be able to find out. I am hoping for a good day today. I need to move a little bit of furniture around in my bedroom. Nothing heavy, just a little rearranging. I hope everyone here has a wonderful Tuesday!

@epiffanie I'm sorry that you have fibromyalgia too. It's not a lot of fun but right now I am not having a lot of pain. Most of my pain has to do with neuropathy in my feet.

I went through a very trying time and was in a lot of pain when I wrote this post. Fortunately, now I am feeling better. I think with neuropathy, you have flares just like other diseases and I think that is what happened to me.

So far, nobody seems worried about anything. I've been told that I have neuropathy, which I already knew and that there isn't a lot they can do but treat the symptoms.

I hope they can find the reason why you have pain in your feet. My husband always has very cold toes, but they have not found a circulatory problem.

@simone10 It is true that this could be the cause. I hope they can find a solution without surgery.

@LadyDuck I do too. I'm not sure if they could do surgery on something so small.

So far, I don't know a whole lot of what is going on. I have my suspicions that the problem with my feet is caused from a tiny herniated disk in my lower back.

I hope they can figure it out and help you with something like exercises or something simple.

I hope so too. So far the only thing I have had done is an injection in my hip which has helped a lot with my hip pain at night.

From my own experience only: to me it looks like you blood is not circulating properly, be very careful with that. I don't want to scare you but it is something to take seriously. Insist on getting an answer NOW, don't wait.

No one seems to think there is anything to worry about...so far. I do have a pain management appointment on 11/30 so we shall see.
