My friend thinks I should get a roommate.

I don't want one and no matter the money I m not that broke. When I am here alone that is just what I want.

If you are happy and content living alone then why give up that up. I always preferred to live alone. I like have my own personal space and some place I could call my own.

@sharon6345 I am happy living with my fiance now but before he came along I was perfectly happy living on my own.

Well your friend is most likely thinking about you getting lonely and tbinks a room mate would be a good idea. I quite like my own company at times so I know what you mean abkut being alone

why ? Do you like loneliness?. Getting a friend means exposing a lot to others. You can share your feelings both good and bad. You can dine together, you can work together and spend a lot of time without any problem.

Some people seem unable to stand that some of us like and need to be alone. I guess she's the sort of person who'd not be able to live alone, so wonders why somebody else is happy with it.
