I Need To Up My Game On Here

I was thinking about it recently, and I do need to try to up my game a little on here. I need to interact more often instead of getting to everything once a week, and I need to make more posts on here as well. I do know that posting and interacting, especially interacting, is essential to earning more. However, my actual freelance writing has to come first. I am completing work for clients and getting paid to; it’s basically my job. There are orders I can get through rather quickly, and then there are orders that require a lot of research. Let’s not forget the proofreading before submitting it. There are going to be days where I need to put MyLot on the backburner so I can meet my deadlines and finish my work at a decent time. I am going to try to make three posts a day, at least during the week. However, my work, life in general and running out of post ideas may cause that to change on some days. I am going to try to up my game around here, but I am also going to be more realistic about it. I think any money I earn on here will be used for fun (i.e., WWE or NKOTB events), since I probably won’t earn as much monthly. I am not going to rely on the payments for bills and such because my main focus is the freelance writing. And just to clarify, when I say freelance writing - I am referring to Textbroker and Zerys, not MyLot. I use MyLot as a creative outlet; a place to write about whatever I want without worrying about deadlines; and I can interact with people and earn a little money as well. Anyways, I just felt like sharing what was on my mind. I hope you’re all doing well, and have a great day! Photo Credit: Pixabay.

Mylot os not so much about making several posts in a day as relating to people. Noone will read and like your posts if they don´t know you as a person. And that is done here through interacting.

I know that interacting is a big part, which I mentioned in my post, but I still have to be realistic about my goals. I already know a lot of posters on here from other websites, and we do interact on here a bit.

maybe that's the secret to 'big money on myLot': make it more of 'a place you go to join the conversations (starting conversations if a topic weighs so-heavily on your mind that it affects your responses to other discussions).' You can even link to some of your articles here! ... As long as you remember that 'links are only for reference-material'---if we can't discuss your OP without going to the link, we probably don't want the link posted (though I think myLot's programming now factors-out any links we make here in its page-rank on the search-engines )

Thanks. I know interacting is a big part of earning, but I am always falling behind in my notifications. I usually use MyLot as an online journal, I talk about my day, interests, etc. I just like to have fun with it. :) I don't have any links to post on here, and I don't try to get my MyLot posts seen on search engines because the money comes from interacting rather than views.

@tammys85 And we're all lucky to have you do that for us, and lucky that MyLot lets us all comment 'freely' (within reasonable manners ) comment on your journals, letting you & all of us grow our magnificent intellect together

I'll definitely try to do more WWE related posts; especially since I'm excited for both S'Series and the Rumble. :D

@tammys85 Mickie James is back, She will challenge Asuka for the Women's title. I wonder if she will be allowed on the main roster. Goldberge is also rumored to be back. Eversince the brand split many people are given opportunities to return.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I heard, that's gonna be so cool, and I hope she will be on the main roster eventually. Goldberg is coming to take on Lesnar. I've never been a huge fan of Goldberg, but I hope he kick's Lesnar's rear end lol. Yep, Shelton Benjamin was supposed to come back, but he's injured. Brian Kendrick is back (but he came back at the Cruiserweight stuff), and I am looking forward to seeing more of Curt Hawkin's new gimmick lol.

Thanks for sharing your plan. Responding more and interacting help increase earnings. I'm also more active now than last year.

Thanks, and you're welcome! I try to be as active as possible, but sometimes things happen. I may post tonight but I wanna get through my notifications first, plus I have work to do. :)

I feel you. Although I just recently became active, I felt that I need to dedicate a portion of my day on here. I have a full time job and myLot is just my way of relaxing at the end of the time or during breaks. The money is a bonus for me but there are times that I want to earn more so I could buy my wants. In the end, I just make sure that I'm having fun.

Right. I do enjoy earning on here, but I have fun interacting with everyone, especially since I know a bunch of people from previous websites - I feel like we were all able to reconnect here. I use this as a blog about my day, thoughts, etc. - so my discussions are not gonna earn big, but that's okay because it gives me a way to write without worrying about researching and deadlines.

We do the same thing Tammy. My regular job and online projects on Upwork are my priorities. That's the reason why I don't post discussions - won't have time to maintain them. I only visit the site when I'm not that busy.

Right. We have to focus on the main source of income first, and then the fun (online) stuff. I do wanna up my game around here, but my work needs to come first. I have opted not to write today since I was out for a while, so I'm MyLotting for a little while.

I need to up my game on here as well. Truth of the matter is that I forget to come on here unless I have something to share/talk about.

I tend to do a lot more interacting than posting. You earn just as much doing that. My $$ goes to Pay Pal as well as money I earn on Mint Vine. I'm going to use it for a few things for my bedroom, new shelves and stuff. My piles of books are driving me nuts!

I know, but I like to post as well. I just need to put my freelance writing first because that is my main source of income. I'm just keeping what I got paid already on the side to go with my current savings. I hope you can get your shelves soon!

Sounds like you are getting organized. If you can manage to keep to your goals it should work out for you. It does require interaction to get people to read your posts but the ones that read longer posts will anyways I think?
