Pay your bills ..

I hear how happy people are to get credit cards. I never seem to jump for joy over those conversations. It's amazing that people take pride in saying they have no money to pay the bills. How about not applying for the card to begin with. Then you can't cry about not paying the bill. What about those that know off the top they don't plan to pay it. How dare they.

I have two credit cards that are for emergencies only. I never put more on it that I can afford to pay off.

Not any better than outright theft if they don't plan to pay what they owe when they start using the card. I have more cards than I need, and accounts I never plan to use... But that's simply because we're setting ourselves up to purchase a house relatively soon, and the extra available credit will help with that goal.

That is a good reason to have one though.

I have a Fingerhut and Walmart credit card. I rather use my Walmart one for groceries and stuff anyways. Sorry if my post made you seem upset because you do hear me struggle but I always make ends meet.

@sharon6345 Ok. Sorry, Sometimes I assume but I always make sure lol. Thanks. Sometimes my posts offend people and they go around and post a post about how they felt offended. Thats how I came off. You already know I have been through a lot.

Yes, I think so, I don't like to get credit cards, they would be dangerous in the future.

We refuse to do credit cards. We use a prepaid card for my husband check and to pay our bills with but that's it. It's different with a prepaid card cause if there is no money then you can't use it. I think there a lot safer.

My friend got one from the dollar tree. That is what she uses for shopping too.
