I am looking forward to that - seeing our daughter married to his boyfriend . But then , they will still be specializing in their own fields of medicine for 5 years more .

If I my daughter got married, I would feel happy, but also sad for she would surely leave me. She must follow her husband. If my son got married, I would feel really happy for he gave me a daughter in law.

Well, let the children grow up and enjoy their wedding day. I think can at least understand the parents do have mix feeling about this though. As you said. Both sad and happy shows up in terms of feeling. Parents are always a gift from heaven for their children anyway since it is full of hard work and emotion to raise up a child lo.

We were very happy. We had only one child, our son, and now we have another child, our daughter-in-law.
