Back from the Transformation Gym

Tonight's workout was tough! They are really cranking it up now that we are on our last week of the six week Transformation Challenge. First we had six minutes of doing the following continuously, one after the other: 1) 15 kettlebell swings 2) 5 squat jumps 3) 5 pushups That definitely got the heart rate up! Then we had 28 minutes of the following circuit: 1) Band overhead presses (20) 2) Band shoulder pulls (20) 3) Pendulum lunges (10) 4) Farmer walks (2) 5) Double kettlebell squats (8) 6) 1:00 wall squat We finished with a set of 20 seconds of jump rope, 10 seconds of rest, 20 seconds of burpees, 10 seconds of rest, and 20 seconds of squat pulse, 10 seconds of rest, and then we repeated it. I've definitely gotten much more fit and much stronger because I never would have been able to get through that stuff the first week of the challenge. I'm proud that I could do it tonight. I've come a long way!
