Patience knew that time was running out. She felt prepared for her next and hopefully final battle with the Rocking Reps. "Remember all that you've learned," said Mister OB, the owl. "I hear them coming now." "I am ready for them." "Good," said Oscar, the ostrich. The Rocking Reps, 30 strong, separated into four groups. "Okay, let's finish off the humond. I've decided to kill her," said an angry Hugo. Patience cast a new spell, "Down the Ladder." The Rocking Reps collapsed. They felt all of a sudden enormously heavy. "Up the Sky," said Hugo. The spell was broken. Patience cast a new spell, "Up the Ladder." The Rocking Reps floated into the sky. "Is that the best you can do?" asked Hugo. "Down the Ladder," he said. "Oh wait," said Hugo. "No, no, no!" Hugo had repeated a counter spell that was originally announced by Patience. "What's happening to us?" asked a frightened Braxton. "You fell into my trap," said Patience. "By using my spell to counter act my new spell, you have now instituted your own defeat. You cannot void your own spell. You are doomed to be crushed by your very own spell." Hugo screamed, "Release us from this spell. I shall crush your bones into mulch." "I don't think so," said Patience. "Mister OB, I think that are guests will be in this position for a very long time." "Yes indeed," said Mister OB. "You have saved Creedle." Just then a Blueberry Fairy flashed her magic wand at Patience. "You shall return to your world. We shall call upon you again if we are in trouble." "And I shall be ready to do battle," said Patience. Instantly, Patience was back in her bedroom. Her mother was relieved to find her there. Patience did not divulge to her mother about her strange adventure. However, Patience now felt very special. She was ready for new excitement in her life. Only time will tell if she is summoned again by Mister OB and Oscar.
