What does one write about when one has no life? Lol! So I will talk about my day thus far. I took Doodles outside four times so far. I drove my hubby to therapy, left, ran errands, and returned to wait 30 minutes for him in the waiting room while myLotting. We went to the market together and met the owner. We rushed home to put the groceries away, because our decorator was due to arrive any minute. The decorator arrived. I had to sign papers - lots of them, because we decided to go with the new, much more costly area rug. She gave us 30% off, but it was still much more than we wanted to spend. My hubby isn't happy, but he loves the unusual looking rug. Our new furniture is going to be delivered November 2, and our decorator will arrive to help in its placement. If the area rug isn't in, she will return to place it properly when it does arrive. Our friend stopped by to give my hubby a get well gift. It was an adult coloring book. Too bad he can't use his hands. I took Doodles out again. That's it for me. How was your day? *Photo shows a dinner my son and his fiancée had in Montreal.

The food looks incredible! I can't wait to see a picture of the rug. Or have you already posted a picture?

They loved that dinner. It seems that Montreal has some excellent eateries. You didn't miss a photo of the rug. Even I don't have a photo. Lol!

Oh dear Dianne, you sound fed up. That was a bit insensitive about the colouring book.

She meant well, but we are both frustrated and fed up. It's been 8 weeks today since the surgery.

You are really busy these days, doing things that take a lot of patience. I hope that your husband's therapy allows him to progress.

@DianneN Poor Dianne, I also never carried luggage, but if it should be necessary I will. Best wishes to your husband, it seems he is on the way to be better, even if not really soon.

Thanks, Anna. He did get 90% feeling back in the fingers of one hand. He still can't raise his arms or position them to drive or pull up his pants. The nerves have to regenerate and the muscles build up. It will take much longer than we ever thought. I had to carry luggage into my son's house! Unheard of! Lol!

I spent my day on the phone yesterday to Disney, booking and rebooking. I didn't mention it but the wait time on hold was horrendous and I had to leave it on speaker phone so I could do other things. I have to say, listening to Disney music for several hours took it's toll.

@DianneN I didn't buy tickets, just booking and rebooking the hotel! I did purchase another annual pass because my daughter will be visiting Disney throughout next year. This way I can join her or she me (as in this case) without having to buy tickets.

I'm intrigued by the concept of a decorator. At first when you mentioned the decorator I thought you meant a 'painter and decorator' - someone who would paint or wallpaper whatever you asked them to do. But it seems this person does something completely different. I just can't quite get my head around the idea that you seem to be paying someone a lot of money to tell you where to put your furniture - or have I got completely the wrong end of the stick??

Lol! The decorator doesn't charge for this. It is all one price. She designed the room, helped me choose the appropriate furniture and fabrics, paint, tiles, and area rug. We had to buy the floor tiles on our own, but she made sure they were the right color against the fabric. The same with the paint. We had to pay for the tile layer, carpenter, and painter. I like so many things that I could never make up my own mind without professional help. I only knew what colors I kind of wanted. Lol! She was worth every penny. I've made way too many mistakes over the years.

I wish I could just have a lazy day for myself. My hubs had neck surgery almost 8 weeks ago. I've done nothing but take care of him. He can't move his arms.
