Credit. Isn't it grand? I've had my credit score go up and down. I checked my credit score tonight and it has gone up 40 points in two weeks! Has yours changed recently?

Mine are set up on an automatic schedule but I check to make sure everything went alright. Better to be safe than sorry.

@ramapo17 I have had problems off and on with automatic payments. Certain places do not take them out when they say they are going to. I would be checking too if I did have that.

Wow that is awesome. I don't check my credit often. I heard if you do the points can go down. But the last time I checked ~ I had great credit =)

Probably still do then. I check on Credit Karma and it isn't supposed to cause any problems.

@celticeagle Oh I see! That is good. I don't buy a service or use any to check my credit.

I can check it on the credit card account when I get my balance each month. I do not get charged any thing for that.

I check mine when I pay my Discover Card on that site. It has not changed a lot lately but I am working on it. Not that I really want to use it. I think I fall in the good to excellent range.

Good to excellent is great. Mine is way down because of past bills but all of a sudden it is up forty points.

Mine has been in a constant change up and down since April. I bought a car in April and in June it dropped 110 points. Last month it climbed back up 65 points and then this month it dropped 75 points. I have no idea what is going on with it. Nothing else has changed on my report, so I don't have any idea whats causing the change. Hoping that it starts improving and finally stabilizes. Glad to hear that yours is climbing.

We don't check our credit too often, mostly when we purchase a car. We don't use credit cards so it's normally good. Glad yours went up. Have a blessed day

I have no credit cards. I just check it when I get an email from Credit Karma.

@celticeagle a lot of times I use cash when on hand and generally only pay mortgage or utility bills with the good ole checks and a 'higher credit score' surprise is not really a surprise to me cause credit is always iffy, available or withheld

@enlightenedpsych2 .......I pay three bills by check, one auto pay, The rest I can pay on their sites. I enjoy seeing my credit line go up just for my own piece of mind.

It does drive me crazy as I get reports every month or two from a few different places. It is amazing how some can be so different.

@celticeagle Sometimes we just have to go over everything on the credit report as I have found some wrong issues on it. Not many but there was one once.

I get an e-mail every so often from the free site I belong to and the last time I saw it was starting to go up, little by little. I'm glad yours is going up.

I only check it when I am planning to buy something rather big, like a new home. I know we are entitled to one check by each credit agency per year, however, I don't keep track on them. Maybe it's a good idea to take a look on your score every now and then. This is also useful to avoid being victim of identity fraud.

I am too curious. Always want to know if it has gone up or down.
